The Medici vase, a true timeless piece of art.
Originally made in in the second half of the 1st century AD,
as decoration for the Roman market.
It has carved scenes of Iphigenia, with Ulysses and Angamemnon.
The original marble vase reappeared in the inventory of the
Medici family collection, in the 16th century.
It has also been referred to as the Vaso Di Villa Albani,
the original is on display in the Uffizi gallery, Italy.
The marble is smooth and cold to the touch with very fine detail.
